What is Gargi About?

Gargi is an Indian Tamil language film released on 15 July 2022 in theatres. The film is directed by Gautham Ramachandran starring Sai Pallavi, Kaali Venkat, and Aishwarya Lekshmi as the main lead actors in the movie.

The story revolves around Gargi who works as a school teacher and lives with her family but one fatal incident changes Gargi’s life forever when her father is accused of being a member included in a minor gang rape case. She has to prove her father’s innocence with the help of a junior lawyer in court. Sai Pallavi plays the role of Gargi. Kaali Venkat plays the role of Indrans Kaliyaperumal. R A Shivaji plays the role of Brahmanandam. Kavithalaya Krishnan plays the role of Public Prosecutor.
