Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming Indian Hindi language comedy-drama film that is directed by Advait Chandan and starring Aamir Khan, Kareen Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh as the main lead actors in the movie. The story revolves around an official remake of the 1994 American Forrest Gump. Aamir Khan plays the role of Laal Singh Chaddha. Kareena Kapoor plays the role of Rupa D’Souza. Naga Chaitanya plays the role of Balaraju “Bala” Bodi. Mona Singh plays the role of Mrs. Chaddha, Laal Singh Chaddha’s mother.

Laal Singh Chaddha OTT Release Date?

Laal Singh Chaddha will be released in theaters on 11 August 2022. The film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Laal Singh Chaddha has been filmed in more than 100 Indian locations and the film was supposed to be released in 2020-2022 but it was delayed due to a covid pandemic. The film will be streaming on the OTT platform after six months of its theatrical release on Netflix. Speaking about the same, Aamir Khan said, “One of the reasons, primarily, I think the curiosity of going to theaters has reduced because films come on OTT right after they come in theaters, they come on OTT very fast. So I have always tried to keep a 6-month gap for my films. I don’t know what the industry follows, but I like to keep a 6-month gap. So that’s what I tried to do for all my films and up till now, we have managed that.”
